Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which orders placed with Akriti Ophthalmic Pvt Ltd(“Akriti,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) may be cancelled or refunded.
Due to the specialized and regulated nature of our ophthalmic devices, prosthetic solutions, and biologic products, certain restrictions apply.
2. Order Cancellation Policy
2.1 Cancellation Before Dispatch
- Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement, provided the product has not yet entered processing or manufacturing.
- Custom-made products (e.g., ocular prostheses, personalized devices) cannot be cancelled once fabrication has begun.
2.2 Cancellation After Dispatch
- Orders that have already been shipped cannot be cancelled.
- Refusal to accept delivery will be treated as a non-refundable event, and additional shipping or return charges may apply.
3. Refund Policy
3.1 Non‑Refundable Products
Due to hygiene, safety, and regulatory compliance, the following items are strictly non‑refundable:
- Custom ocular prostheses
- Patient‑specific devices
- Sterile ophthalmic products
- Biologic materials (e.g., amniotic products)
- Opened or used medical devices
- Products damaged due to mishandling by the customer
3.2 Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be issued only in the following cases:
- The product delivered is incorrect or not as per the confirmed order
- The product is damaged during transit (with valid proof)
- The product is defective due to manufacturing issues
3.3 Refund Process
- Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of receiving the product.
- Customers must provide:
- Order number
- Photographs/videos of the issue
- Description of the problem
- Once approved, refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method.
4. Return Conditions
Returns are accepted only if:
- The product qualifies under the refund eligibility criteria
- The product is unused, unopened, and in original packaging
- All accessories, documentation, and labels are intact
Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
5. International Orders
For international shipments:
- Customs duties, import taxes, and clearance delays are beyond our control and not refundable.
- Returns due to regulatory restrictions in the destination country are not eligible for refunds.
6. Replacement Policy
If a product is eligible for replacement:
- A replacement will be shipped after verification of the issue.
- In cases where replacement is not possible, a refund may be issued at Akriti’s discretion.
7. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation
All refund or cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to:
